THE LEGACY OF “BLUE STAR CAFÉ and BUNGALOWS” …..

In the early 2000’s you could organise to either dive or snorkeling at “The Wall” among other places in Jemeluk bay, Amed and from the sea you would have cast your eyes upon the green dense tropical forest at the edge of the crystal blue ocean with numerous fishing boats of the local people lining the shore.  

If you came back a year or two later you were met with a changed skyline, where ever so “here and there” a typical Balinese roof edged through the lush green growth.  Now you could walk onto the beach, lie on a sunbed and quench your thirst and hunger at Blue Star Café with delicious food and drinks that were served to you by the happy and helpful staff. 

You could feel the positive energy of your surroundings and you were sure to come back.

 

If you came back another year or two later you found yourself delighted at the prospect of now being able to overnight in one of the three accommodations offered at Blue Star Café and Bungalows and you were sure to be blessed when meeting Iluh and Nengah, the delightful owners of this establishment with their young son, Gede.

With the ever-growing popularity of Amed, this jewel of Blue Star has expanded to one of Bali’s most sought after treasures that you wish everybody can experience, but you actually don’t want to tell anybody and keep this your secret.  However, that is not possible as one’s mouth runs over with that which fills one’s heart and Blue Star with all it encompasses certainly fill your heart to the brim with peace, tranquillity, caring and love.

Much have changed over the years in Amed, but the positive energy of Blue Star Café and Bungalows and the wonder and happiness of Iluh and Nengah have remained a gracious and blessed constant in all this change.
